- Josh Eakins Added 2018-06-10★ ★ ★ ★ ★After living 10 minutes away for the last year I decided to finally visit Rattlesnake Point. I visited on a Friday afternoon in mid December and it was amazing. I essentially had the park to myself for my entire visit, I saw one person and their dog on the trail and 1 person in the parking lot.
The views from the lookouts and quietness of the winter made for an amazing afternoon and the park 100% lived up to the hype.
Being mid December I wasn't sure what to expect for maintenance but all of the paths were clearly marked and well maintained. I could easily see myself returning in the future and possibly purchasing a year round pass. Kicking myself for waiting so long to visit.
