- Paul Mergl Added 2017-09-29★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I have a Whirlpool Fridge and a Year later it leaks. Searched on YouTube, and there is a updated drain kit for the defrosting of the freezer. I call Whirlpool, and they have no idea of an updated part in the system, and their fix is send out a technician at your expense to fix the problem. They won't even send me the part because they don't believe me, even though I have confirmed that I have a old part that has been updated. So if you want to wreck your floors, and pay money as soon as your warranty expires, purchase Whirlpool! I think I will be purchasing GE appliances next time. UPDATE..... I have a Whirly poop electric range as well, and the digital read out stopped working, so another Whirly poop product that is unsatisfactory!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
